We include a full declaration outlining the specific farm and approved water monitoring information. This ensures that all New Zealand Greenshell™ Mussels can be traced right back to the time they were seeded out as juvenile mussels. As well as tracing events that occurred in the water during the growing cycle. Any product in the market can be traced from when it was harvested. By whom, where and when it was processed. Also when it was distributed to market.
We stringently test shellfish and water for biotoxins, bacteria and heavy metals. Our ethically produced shellfish are grown, harvested and processed to industry best practice. Our facilities meet the strictest food safety specifications and standards in the world.
